This coming fall at Antioch University, Kima Tozay, social worker and diversity professional, will be leading three Women in Leadership Badge Series workshops.
When leaders operationalize empathy, an entire organization thrives. Empathy is a crucial aspect of emotional intelligence. Yet many leaders lack awareness and understanding of what it truly means to practice empathy with their teams. This workshop will focus on empathy centered mindfulness-based approaches such as self-compassion, perspective-taking and deep listening skills leaders can model while guiding others during difficult times. You will develop an Empathy Action Plan and walk away with actionable goals to enhance your leadership skills. Learn more.
The first on Saturday, Sept. 21 is Operationalizing Empathy in Your Workplace. This workshop will help you become a more emotionally intelligent leader. This workshop will cover the topics of empathy, how to be an empathetic leader, and strategies for managing stress in challenging times.
Ms. Tozay’s ‘Why I Decided to Earn a Women’s Leadership Credential’ talks about her journey with Antioch’s Women in Leadership program.
