Culver City Police Detective Rob Casey executed multiple search warrants to residences related to the recent “Cinco De Mayo Restaurant” robbery on Sept. 5, and struck probably pay dirt. Based on the information obtained from the initial crime report and the observations of responding officers locating the get-away vehicle, CCPD detectives began to investigate the case and quickly identified two suspects. The warrants yielded gang paraphernalia, a loaded firearm, and methamphetamine. The tenacious and thorough follow-up investigation led to the arrest of two gang members. CCPD was contacted for more information, and updates will be posted.
