On Nov. 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 pm.,things will be getting revved up at Culver City High School. The CCHS Boosters Club is hosting a Classic Car Show on the school campus. Free to the public, attendees will have the opportunity to view an eclectic collection of vehicles, enjoy local cuisine, shop local vendors and clubs, and be entertained by local performers.
Classic Customs, Lowriders, Muscle, Trucks, Motorcycles & Specialty Vehicles will all be on display and trophies will be presented to several of the best in show.
Local bands, including Paper Rain, will perform on stage and AMP Radio 97.1 will broadcast from the show. Foodies can enjoy cuisine from local restaurants such as El Pollo Loco, and leaders from the local food truck scene including Komodo and The Flying Pig. School Clubs and local vendors will offer their wares and donated items will be raffled off throughout the event.
The event is sponsored by the Culver City News, Goldrich & Kest Industries, John Riordan Plumbing and Culver City Volvo. The Culver City High School Boosters Club is a non-profit organization of parents and other community volunteers committed to supporting our students involved in sports and extra-curricular programs. The Boosters Club recently announced a $20,000 contribution to the
school to offset the severe cuts to the CCHS Athletic Department’s transportation budget and will apply the proceeds from the show to this effort.
