Saturday, September 25, from 9 a.m. to noon, Ballona Creek Renaissance will be having a Creek Cleanup, at three Culver City locations, and your help is essential. BCR will be registering and providing orientation for cleanup volunteers at the Overland Avenue entrance to the bike path next to the Culver City Julian Dixon Library, 4975 Overland Avenue, Culver City, where we’ll also have an exhibit in the library lobby all September. If you’d like to help BCR with registration and outreach that morning, we’ll also be recruiting volunteers with a special outreach to Culver City High School and Middle School students, so if you want to teach your children first hand about how important the creek is to Culver City, sign up to help. For more info, contact Ballona Creek Renaissance at ballonacreek.org.
