El Día de los Niños / El Día de los Libros (Children’s Day / Book Day) is a nationwide celebration that brings together children, books, languages and cultures. It is both an annual celebration and commitment to spread “bookjoy” every day by linking children with books; and to celebrate by honoring children, their languages and culture; encourage reading and literacy; and raise awareness of our library as a unique community resource.
What’s the best way to explore a new culture? It’s @ your library! Children’s Day/Book Day. Did you know there is a world of resources waiting for you @ your library? Check out the multicultural resources your library offers! Looking for that special book to share with your child? You’ll find it @ your library!
