This international walking program walkwithadoc.org/ was started by an Ohio cardiologist looking to encourage individuals to move their bodies and give up their sedentary lifestyles. Culver City took the lead from Council member Jeff Cooper and Dr. Jeff Penso and began ours in 2014. Walk with a Doc is grateful for support from LA County Medical Association, Culver Palms YMCA, The City of Culver City and the Cooperative of American Physicians.
