Are you in the holiday spirit? Get there tonight at Vets Park at 6:30 ! Join Santa for this fun, free annual event! Watch from below as the “tree” surrounding the Veterans Memorial Building tower is illuminated. After illuminating the tower, Santa will arrive on a fire truck and photo opportunities with Santa will be available indoors along with holiday crafts and refreshments.
The ceremony takes place at the Veterans Memorial Building at 4117 Overland Avenue, next to the film strip fountain. After the ceremony, guests are welcome inside the Rotunda Room for refreshments, arts and crafts and Santa visits. Guests are also invited to the annual Holiday Recital of the PRCS Department’s recreation classes in the Auditorium featuring music and dancing.
