We Tell Stories, LA’s acclaimed children’s storytelling theatre company, celebrates the County of Los Angeles Public Library’s Summer Reading Program, “One World, Many Stories/Un Mundo, Muchas Historias” with 7 different performances reflecting the folklore of various countries and cultures at the Culver City Julian Dixon Library. Beginning this Wednesday June at 2 pm, it’s the start of a summer of fun that you don’t want to miss. Shows are interactive, multicultural, and educational, blending laughter and literacy together for fun-filled afternoons for parents and children alike.
“One World, Many Stories/Un Mundo, Muchas Historias!”begins this week with “The Village of Liver and Onions” – Tales from the Rootabaga Stories of American poet and storyteller Carl Sandburg.
