Toxic Waste in Your Medicine Cabinet- Turn It In on April 30

The Culver City Police Department, in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) is hosting a drop off point for prescription medications. The purpose of this National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is to provide a venue for persons who want to dispose of unwanted and unused prescription drugs. This will be the second event, due to the overwhelming success of the first event held on September 25, 2010. At that time, 3,000 state and local law enforcement agencies participated in the event and the American public turned in more than 121 tons of unwanted prescription drugs.

All you have to do is drive by and drop off the unwanted prescription drugs and no questions asked.

The event will take place on April 30, 2011 from 10:00 am till 2:00 pm in front of the Culver City Police Department located at 4040 Duquesne Avenue.
