A generous grant of nearly $20,000 from the Marcia Brady Tucker Foundation will fund 13 document camera/LCD projector technology combination for the math department at Culver City High School. The document camera/LCD projector technology allows a variety of teaching materials to be projected onto a wall or whiteboard so that all students can clearly see the image. The equipment easily integrates the latest technology into lesson delivery for complex graphics, image displays or important text presentations. Every math teacher will now have this technology in the classroom.
Technology equipment, such as the document camera/LCD projector unit and interactive whiteboards, is the item most requested by CCUSD teachers. The Culver City Education Foundation raises money from the community in order to be able to fund as many teacher requests as possible.
