Living with Nature: What Steps Can We Take?

Conservationist Tom Moritz will talk about how human beings can live with nature on Wednesday, March 3, 10 to 11 a.m., at the Culver-Palms Family YMCA. Tom will focus on what steps the average citizen can take to help human beings co-exist with wildlife and nature. How can we preserve the natural treasures of our planet?

Tom Moritz has spent a lifetime working for the conservation of species, landscapes and natural systems. He worked in government, universities, and for 20 years in natural history museums including the Getty Research Institute and The American Museum of Natural History in NYC. He is a member of the World Commission on Protected Areas and former member of the Species Survival Commission.

The talk is free and open to the community.
