Step into the Village Well for a celebration of Amy Tangerine’s first solo art exhibition, She Dreams in Color. On Saturday, August 22, 2026 from 1 to 3 pm, the author of Craft a Life You Love will be presenting her first solo art exhibit in the gallery space at the bookstore, a collection celebrating color, joy, imagination, and the beauty of making.
Tangerine offers “With a playful, optimistic approach, I combine mixed media, collage and abstract acrylic paint techniques. Every piece is a reminder to embrace the unexpected. I explore the idea that every person has the ability to dream big and make their unique mark in the world.”
Her technique is centered in the wisdom of letting the beauty come through. “Each piece is built in layers. Evolving organically over time, these pieces embrace movement, spontaneity, and the inherent beauty of imperfection. The process reflects how our experiences, choices, and moments of courage shape who we are.”

An avid and ardent advocate for creativity in every mode, Tangerine says “My hope is that these paintings inspire curiosity, joy, and the confidence to create without fear.
