No Judgment, Just Help – Culver Theater to Screen Project Street Vet Documentary

Project Street Vet, the national nonprofit founded by veterinarian and 2023 CNN Hero of the Year Dr. Kwane Stewart, will host the No Judgment. Just Help. film premiere and benefit at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, October 25, at The Culver Theater, 9500 Culver Blvd., Culver City
The event will bring together animal advocates, veterinary professionals, supporters, and community members. Sponsors of the fundraiser include award-winning singer-songwriter Sia and the Scarritt Group & Foundation.
Directed by filmmakers Jason Stack and Ian Stewart, No Judgment. Just Help. follows Project Street Vet teams across the country as they bring free veterinary care to pets and the people who love them. Through intimate stories of pet families, veterinarians, and volunteers, the documentary explores barriers to veterinary care and the enduring human-animal bonds that transcend housing circumstances.
“Some of the most meaningful moments in this work happen long before we ever pick up a stethoscope. They happen when someone realizes we’re there to listen, to help, and to care for their pet without judgment,” said Dr. Kwane Stewart, founder of Project Street Vet. “This documentary gives people a chance to see those moments for themselves and meet the families who inspire us to keep showing up.”
Following the screening, a special guest will moderate a Q&A featuring Dr. Stewart, the filmmakers, and members of the Project Street Vet team. The afternoon will continue with a reception at nearby Public School 310, where guests can connect with Project Street Vet supporters, veterinary professionals, and members of the team.
“We wanted this premiere to be more than an opportunity to watch a film. It’s a chance for people in the Los Angeles area to connect with the families and veterinary teams at the heart of Project Street Vet and see exactly why this work matters,” said Danae Davis, Executive Director at Project Street Vet. “Every ticket purchased and every contribution made during the event helps us continue providing veterinary care and essential resources to pets whose families might otherwise have nowhere to turn.”
