Culver City to Consider Digital Kiosks – Two Community Meetings Scheduled

In 2022, the City began exploring the feasibility of outdoor, self-standing, touch-screen digital kiosks in the select areas of the City. Digital kiosks provide real-time City information, community resources, multi-modal trip planning, and listings for area businesses and destinations. At the City’s request, interested vendors provided information to better understand the physical design, infrastructure requirements, operational capacity, maintenance, accessibility, and financing of various kiosks. The City now seeks the community’s input in the consideration of a future program. Two community meetings will be held to gather community input on the digital kiosks.  A presentation and a prototype of one potential kiosk will be available for the community to try.

Please join us on Thursday, August 24th at 6 PM (prior to the Summer Sunset Music Festival) or on Saturday, August 26th at 9:30 AM to learn more and provide your feedback!

The meetings will take place at 9432 Culver Boulevard in Town Plaza, directly across from the Culver Hotel and The Culver Theatre. Convenient parking is located underneath The Culver Steps complex and at the Cardiff and Ince Parking Structures located in Downtown Culver City.

Plan ahead and consider taking the bus or using other mobility options to attend the event, including the City’s Circulator that connects to the Culver City Expo Station! Call 310-253-6500 or visit the Culver CityBus Website to map your trip. The City’s Next CCBus App provides real time bus locations, trip planning and bus occupancy levels. Please do not park in residential areas.

If you are interested in attending the meeting, please call or email Elaine Gerety Warner, Economic Development Director, at (310) 253-5777 or at [email protected].
