It’s this year’s final celebration of summertime’s Third Wednesday in Downtown Culver City with “Tropical Staycation” on Wednesday August 16, 2023. From 5 to 8 pm (or while supplies last…) dozens of DTCC businesses will be offering some liquid hospitality, Culver CityBus will be offering rides, and many spots will also be hosting special events.
Pick up your “Third Wednesday Passport” at any participating location or on the Downtown Circulator bus, and start tasting! Look for balloons between 5pm and 8pm along Culver Boulevard and Main Street indicating the stops along the tour. Get your Passport stamped each time you cool off with a Tropical Staycation sample taste. At the end of your night, write your vote in for your favorite drink, then drop off your passport at Piccalilli or the Kirk Douglas Theatre.
New for 2023: Riders of the the new Downtown Circulator bus can obtain a special passport sticker. You can ride the Circulator to the event, around the event, or to get home! Riders’ passports bearing the sticker will be entered into the raffle provided by the Department of Transportation for a gift basket from Lundeen’s.
