“You Don’t Know Us Negroes” Malik Books @ Fox Hills to Host Celebration of Posthumous Work by Hurston

Zora Neale Hurston became a best selling American author after her death, and the upcoming publication of a new title “You Don’t Know Us Negroes,” will be a literary moment to remember. 

Hosted locally by Malik Books, the virtual event will be moderated by New York Times bestselling author Morgan Jerkins. Panelists include Genevieve West, who helped edit the new book, Patrick Dougher, the artist for the new cover of Their Eyes Were Watching God,  and Lucy Ann Hurston, scholar and niece of Zora Neale Hurston.

The volume also features an introduction by New York Times bestselling author Henry Louis Gates Jr.
