“Music at the Wende” Moves Jan. 7 Concert Online

Inspired by Polish writer and 1980 Nobel laureate Czeslaw Milosz’s poem, “A Song on the End of the World,” this concert reflects on silence, stillness, and night as a state of new understanding and transformation. The performers include Street Symphony’s founder and artistic director Vijay Gupta and cimbalom artist Chester Englander.

In response to the increased infection rates of COVID-19 and out of an abundance of caution, the Wende has decided to transition this concert from an in-person program to a virtual performance that will now be live-streamed via Zoom.

There will be no in-person viewing options.
