Celebrating the learning that will take our students to the stars is goal of Science Rocks! at El Rincon this Friday April 26 from 5 to 8 pm.
“Science Rocks!” allows students to experience a hands-on approach to science while integrating skills in other subject areas including organization, community and the environment. “Science Rocks!” projects are open to the whole school with Transitional Kindergarten through 3rd Grade doing class projects, 4th and 5th Grade will be presenting individual projects. It is a great opportunity for the students to learn, to present their work, and to provide an evening for families to come together as a community.
Science, Technology, Engineering (or Environment), and Math (S.T.E.M.) learning centers will be set up throughout campus. The main science project area will be supplemented by an Aeronautics Center with model aircraft and a computer lab displaying student designed web pages.
Not a part of El Rincon? Come on over and get to know us, because we rock ! Admission is free and complimentary programs will be handed out with randomly inserted prizes.
