This meeting follows up on discussions held during the Jan 27 Baldwin Hills Community Advisory Panel meeting. In addition, representatives from the State of California’s Department of Conservation and South Coast Air Quality Management District will be in attendance to provide information on their agencies’ roles in regulating the oil field.

Charter Amendment ‘O’ on the March 8 ballot in the City of L.A., and Beverly Hills’ Measure ‘O’ are focusing attention on urban oil fields as sources of local revenue.
We in Culver City, and in the largely unincorporated L.A. County area surrounding the Baldwin Hills oil fields, still have the occasional opportunity to consider the environmental issues.
