Before you start gearing up for this busy weekend, sit yourself down in front of the tube on Thursday Sept. 23 at 7:30 p.m., turn on KCET and enjoy Huell Howser’s, “A Tour of Culver City.” Yes, we walk around it all the time but wouldn’t it be even more fun to see Culver City on television?
I noticed several years ago if Huell’s remarks were in print, every sentence would have to end with a question mark, or an exclamation point. Isn’t that amazing? Do you think so? Watch the show, and then send me an email and tell me if you agree or disagree!
Full disclosure- Huell Howser and Joe Straw saw Europe together in the late 70’s when Huell was a print reporter for a Tennessee newspaper, and Joe was a trombone player in a marching band on an international tour. It is a small world, after all. I can attest that Huell is truly a nice guy, every bit as filled with enthusiasm as he seems to be on tv. So, watch the show! Enjoy!
