Since 1953, Culver City High School (CCHS) parents and alumni volunteers have provided a fun, exciting and memorable party for their graduating seniors. The CCHS All Night Grad Party is an alcohol and drug-free event designed to celebrate our graduating seniors in a safe environment. This year the celebration starts at 9 p.m. on Friday, June 18 and continues until 5 a.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial Center. The party is both well-attended and well-chaperoned, and is a place where the graduating seniors can gather with their friends to play games, dance, enjoy food and beverages, and win prizes.

The celebration is sponsored by the tireless efforts of the CCHS All Night Grad Party Committee, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. The Committee consists of Culver City parents and alumni who meet monthly throughout the school year, and weekly starting mid May. The Committee is proud to be carrying on a tradition of 57 years—one of the nation’s longest-running all night graduation parties. The Committee does all the leg work to get the party rolling and then depends on the generosity of the community to step forward with donations and volunteering the night of the party.

The CCHS All Night Grad Party is exclusively funded by these donations. Due to the state of our economy, contributions have fallen short this year. Monetary donations in any amount, gift cards, food and beverages, or merchandise are gratefully accepted. Volunteers are needed to help set-up, pack-up or work the party on June 18. New volunteers (usually high school parents) are needed to become members of the 2011 Committee. Invest in our future.
