Wende Museum to Host Community Input Events

Culver City Community: Share Your Ideas for Strengthening Creative and Educational Opportunities in Culver City
Just over a year ago, the Wende finished its renovation of the former National Guard Armory. The new Wende Museum has already become a center and gathering place for the community. We are now turning to our neighbors and friends, once again, to collectively imagine the future of the abandoned site directly adjacent to the Wende at 10858 Culver Boulevard. Please join us at an upcoming neighborhood-engagement gathering to help shape a community-led vision for the parcel next door. What would you like to see there? How might we best activate 10858 Culver Boulevard for the benefit of our Culver City community?

Please join us to provide your input at one of the following community conversations:

Tuesday, March 26, 6 p.m.: Community-input forum with wine and cheese

Friday, April 26, 5 p.m.: Community-input forum followed by public happy hour in the Wende Sculpture Garden

Sunday, May 26, 12 p.m.: Presentation of the Wende Museum’s proposal, reflecting your input. The museum’s plan will be shared with the community during Family Day at the Wende, while Culver City kids are invited to enjoy art-making activities led by Wende Museum staff.

All three community conversations will be held at the Wende Museum at 10808 Culver Boulevard. RSVP Suggested. To RSVP, please email [email protected].
