Spring cleaning sweeps through the city, and La Ballona Beautification Day is this Friday, May 1. There’s a free breakfast and a free lunch and a free t-shirt for all volunteers who can be at La Ballona Elementary School 10915 W Washington Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232 at 9 am.
Each year, Sony Pictures Entertainment selects a local organization or school in Culver City and assists them with various projects. La Ballona Elementary is excited to be selected. Projects include installing raised garden beds, benches, and picnic tables in the quad area, and painting 3 murals. All participants should meet in the La Ballona Cafeteria at 9:00am on May 1st. All volunteers please sign-in and wear the t-shirt.
