Crime Blotter- It’s So Culver City, You Know the Perp

Crime Blotter for July 12th through the 19th.
Assault:
On July 12, 2011 at 1:38 pm, a victim called to report that he was a victim of an assault. The victim said on July 8, 2011 at 7:00 pm he was in the 12700 block of Washington Boulevard and was struck in the face by his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend. The suspect then fled the location.
Car Burglary:
On July 12, 2011 at 3:00 pm, a victim of a car burglary called the police department to report the crime. The victim said she parked and locked her 2007 Chevrolet in the 5600 block of Sepulveda Boulevard at 2:20 pm. She returned to her vehicle at 2:50 pm and discovered her third row seat was missing along with her cell phone.
Attempt Burglary:
On July 12, 2011 at 10:20 am, officers responded to the 11400 block of Washington Boulevard regarding an attempt burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he locked and secured his front door on July 9, 2011 at 6:00 pm and returned on July 12, 2011 at 10:00 am and discovered the locking mechanism had been tampered with and attempted to pry open the door. The suspect(s) were unable to gain entry to the location.
Car Burglary:
On July 14, 2011 at 6:00 pm, a victim called the police department to report her 2007 Cadillac had been burglarized. The victim said she parked and locked her car in the 5100 block of Pickford Way on July 11, 2011 at 3:20 pm, she returned on July 14, 2011 at 1:50 pm and discovered unknown suspect(s) had removed her property from the vehicle.
Attempt Residential Burglary:
On July 15, 2011 at 2:20 am, officers responded to the 6500 block of Green Valley Circle regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she locked and secured her residence at 9:00 pm and returned at 2:00 am and discovered her front door had been damaged and slightly force inward. The suspect(s) were unable to force open the door to gain entry.
Vandalism:
On July 17, 2011 at 11:40 am, a victim called the police department to report his truck had been vandalized. The victim said he parked his truck in the 11300 block of Malat Way on July 16, 2011 at 3:00 pm when he returned the next day at 11:30 am discovered his truck had been spray painted.
