The plan to create a new development that will add up to 100 units per acre is a matter than many in Fox Hills have brought up as a point of contention. The notice from the FHNA offers the statement “This overdevelopment will have a huge impact on our quality of life so we need as many people to be informed and attend meetings to speak out.”
Fox Hills, between Slauson and Centinela, was annexed to Culver City in 1964, at which time it consisted of undeveloped land, riding stables, and golf courses. In the 1970s, the neighborhood was developed with apartments, condominiums, and is now Culver City’s most densely populated neighborhood.
