Th Culver City Garden Club will host a free presentation on “The Wonderful World of Gesneriads” on Tuesday, September 1, at 7:00 PM, in the Garden Room of the Veterans’ Memorial Complex, 4117 Overland Ave. and Culver Blvd.
Our speaker is Don Delano, veteran horticulturalist and ornamental plant expert and lecturer. He’ll give a powerpoint talk about Sinningia, Kohleria, Streptocarpus, African Violets and other members of this species. A hands-on workshop will follow. Come and learn about these interesting houseplants.
There will also be a “Show, Tell & Ask” segment, a Raffle and Refreshments.
