CycleBar to Host Maui Fundraiser

It’s time to push some pedal power! This Saturday on August 26, at 11:45 am, CulverCity CycleBar will be holding a fundraiser for Maui. The money will go directly to families that have been impacted by the fires – many people lost everything.

Just one of the families on Maui that CycleBar is looking to support – Jamie Smythe, a single dad, and his son James Smythe. James plays baseball and was headed to college for his first semester. Jamie works at a golf course in at Kapalua. he is an amazing cook and is the friendliest man on the island!  They lost everything; cars, house, clothes, tools, photos and everything they have ever known.  He is a very proud man and would never ask anyone for anything instead he would be the one giving the shirt off his back.  Jamie is very well respected amongst everyone in the island.

Tami and her brother Braden work for Ritz-Carlton Kapalua. Tami’s job is to help guests celebrate their special occasions. Her parents lost everything. her dad opened this hotel 32 years ago and never wants to leave. her mom is a 3rd generational Lahaina resident and involved in community.

Jim and Kym – They lived in Lahaina and lost almost everything including their home but luckily they are safe and so are their pets! they love spending time fostering dogs and helping humane society find pets home! Kym works at a spa and loves all things fitness and wellness.

First ride at CycleBar is free, so if you would like to try it out and sign up and then hit the donation booth/QR codes will be at the studio! The link to sign up is here:/members.cyclebar.com/book/cyclebar-culver-city/piq_10540712/
