Principal Dr. Lisa Cooper to Depart from CCHS After Seven Years

The year end is often the time for changes at the school district, and CCUSD would like to thank Dr. Lisa Cooper for her more than seven incredible years at the helm of Culver City High School. Dr. Cooper has been principal of the school since 2015 but has announced that she is leaving the district to take a leadership position at Lawndale Elementary School District as their next Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources.

Under her leadership, CCHS celebrated diversity like never before, enhanced its arts curriculum and developed a culture of student achievement and staff collaboration that will serve as her legacy.

“Dr. Cooper is a very talented, collaborative and student-centered educational leader,” said Superintendent Quoc Tran. “She will make an outstanding assistant superintendent, and we wish her well in her new role.”
