Culver City’s Wende Museum is taking an afternoon to dance; hosting the dance students of “A Place Called Home” in partnership with Heidi Duckler, on Friday, July 15. After a museum tour, the dancers will use their inspiration in the exhibition space and the museum garden between 1 and 2 p.m. Everyone is welcome!
At A Place Called Home is a 30 year old on-profit serving Central Los Angeles, and their motto is, “Changing the world starts at home,” and what we mean is that healing, growth, transformation and activism start inside you and me and radiate out to make a difference in the world.
When we are inspired, we inspire others.
They recommit daily to open-minded learning, constant improvement and intentional evolution as individuals and as an organization. And, whether in the classroom, the garden, the theater, the kitchen, the athletics field, the dance studio, or anywhere else on our campus, we live by a set of values that informs the way we walk in the world – or dance in the world.
Join the fun!
