Music, Theater, Dance? Performing Arts Grant Funding is Available

The Culver City Performing Arts Grant Program offers project grants for music, theatre and dance. Under the purview of the City Council and its Cultural Affairs Commission, the Performing Arts Grant Program is designed to support local arts organizations and provide Culver City residents, business community and visitors with enriching and accessible cultural opportunities.

Performing arts organizations of all sizes are encouraged to apply. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must have a mission that is focused on performance, be based in Los Angeles County, and be a current 501(c)(3) organization or have an agreement with a fiscal receiver. Proposed public performances, from January to December 2022, in a Culver City location are eligible.

New and returning applicants are encouraged to attend a virtual grant workshop on August 16, 2021. Cultural Affairs staff will be available to discuss the application and answer any questions. The Culver City City Council has allocated funding from the Art in Public Places Program’s Cultural Trust Fund, plus Sony Pictures Entertainment and the Culver City Arts Foundation have provided additional contributions.
