Rotary Club to Present 7th Annual Walk and Roll Festival

Join Culver City Walk & Rollers for the Seventh Annual Walk & Roll Festival, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Culver City on Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Culver City Middle School (front parking lot) at 4601 Elenda Street. The Walk & Roll Festival is a fun time for the entire family, featuring a skills course and free bike repair!

Kids will have fun learning essential bike safety skills in a controlled environment. Trained instructors from Culver City Walk & Rollers will guide the kids through a series of skills stations and then take them on a group ride to put their new experiences into practice.

All are welcome – bikes, scooters, skateboards, rollerskates, training wheels and tricycles too. There’s something for everyone!

The Walk & Roll Festival teaches kids proper bike handling skills and valuable safety techniques, in a safe, fun and engaging environment. From helmet fitting and bike inspections to turn signals and avoiding hazards, children – and their parents – learn important lessons to more safely and responsibly ride their bikes in an urban environment.
After working their way through the various skills stations, the children participate in on-street group rides around the neighborhood to practice what they have learned under the watchful eyes of our trained instructors. Each child then receives a certificate of completion and signs a pledge to always wear their helmet.
