While the Culver City Orchestra is missing a live audience. they are featuring on-line concerts of musicians who are members, friends, associates, and concerto competition winners of the Orchestra. Keeping the Orchestral light on in the metaphorical darkness, these outstanding musical events will help to carry us through these times until they are once again able to present live concerts.
Rufus Choi’s exhilarating performance of Bach’s Chaconne in D minor (arr. Busoni) and Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition will premiere on the Culver City Symphony Orchestra YouTube channel on Saturday December 19, 2020. A pre-concert talk with Rufus Choi and Frank Fetta, the Orchestra’s Musical Director and Conductor, will start at 6:45pm, and the recital starts at approximately 7:10pm.
