Kamlager Broadcasts ‘Call to Action’ for PPE – “No Amount Too Small”

If you can help, the time is now. From hospitals and nursing homes to grocery stores and childcare centers, workers in our community and across Los Angeles need personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect their health as they continue their service to us.

Working with labor unions and business organizations across Los Angeles County, area legislators have united to encourage and collect donations of masks and other PPE for distribution to workers on the front lines of our defense against COVID-19.

Whether you own a business that has the ability to produce equipment, you have an extra package of N95 masks that nurses and doctors desperately need or you can make hand-sewn cloth masks that store clerks can use on the job, frontline workers need them. No amount is too small, nor too large.

Our legislator partnership will accept donations of medical and non-medical personal protective equipment in any amount at drop-off points being established across the region protect workers throughout the county. Contribute to the effort at bizfedinstitute.org/covid-19-supplies/

Thank you in advance for your support and for helping California succeed in flattening the curve.
