As often happens, the agenda for Monday’s City Council meeting has shifted, and the anticipated item on the Rent Control Ordinance has been changed.
While there will still be an Action Item (A-3) in regard to the Rent Control Ordinance, it no longer contains the element of discussion of the city taking on a consultant, and is now “discussion of a proposed initiative measure … and if desired, direction to the City Manager… regarding the initiative pursuant to elections code Section 9212 …or an informal report.”
Meeting will be at the Mike Balkman Council Chambers at City Hall at 7 pm.
