Monday, Nov. 18 at the Mountain Gate Country Club, the Culver City Fire Fighters Association will be taking a second swing at their annual Golf Tournament, raising funds for Movember (Men’s Health) for Muscular Dystrophy, and the Eric Stevens Foundation.
Eric Stevens, a Los Angeles City firefighter who has been diagnosed with ALS, has been through the wildfires that CCFD has helped to fight, and has more than earned the compassion that his colleagues are offering in his health struggles. Last year’s event raised $23,000 from 84 participants, and golfers are anticipated to number 124 this year.
In addition to golf, there will also be a raffle and a silent auction to boost fundraising.
