The Downtown Tree Lighting ceremony scheduled for tonight, Dec. 6, is being postponed for a week due to the winter weather. the gathering the town plaza will happen next week, Dec. 12, when the weather won’t quite so wet.
The Holiday Tower Lighting is scheduled for Friday evening, Dec. 7 at the Veterans Memorial Complex at 6 pm. Rain is not expected, and the event will go on as originally planned.
