To celebrate the arrival of the acclaimed Fiasco Theater production of “Into the Woods” at the Ahmanson Theatre, Center Theatre Group has launched the “GO! To The Woods” mobile app and will hold a special “Family Day” event on Saturday, April 8, 2017.
The “GO! To The Woods” mobile app gives patrons the opportunity to explore Grand Park and The Music Center Plaza using their smart phones and wits to decode clues and solve riddles. Players who complete the game will win a special surprise. In order to play, patrons will download the free ClueKeeper app and use the Hunt Code “SONDHEIM” to begin playing. Gameplay begins at the Ahmanson Theatre and lasts approximately 45 minutes with 1/2 mile of walking including stairs. The “GO! To The Woods” mobile app will be available to play through the run of the show.
On Saturday, April 8, 2017, beginning at 1 p.m. Center Theatre Group will hold a special “Family Day” event at the Ahmanson Theatre. The pre-show event will feature activities including crafts provided by Art2Go, face painting by Carpé Diem Studio Salon, a photo booth by ONSHINE Photo booth, cookie decorating and lemonade from Patina and wine from Malibu Family Wines for the adults. The matinee performance on April 8 begins at 2 p.m. Special-priced tickets for families are available, details can be found on the Center Theatre Group website. The production is recommended for children 10 years of age or above.
