The State family has been divided into four households: Happy, Sad, Afraid, Angry and….Confused? Wait a minute, there’s only supposed to be four. Confused must choose which household he belongs in!
Written and Directed by Adam J. Jefferis & Lee Margaret Hanson, The State Family Holiday Party features a cast of over 30 students and 12 company members. This year the students have created their parts in the play, by exploring the 14 stock characters from the Commedia dell’Arte and through guided creative writing exercises. The focus of this programs is to empower students to develop their own creative voices and artistic expression, through improvisational exercises, ensemble building, character development, and theatre games.
Come join us and surrender to the contagious energy and creativity of our youngest students! At the Ivy Substation Theater, Saturday Dec 10 and Sunday Dec. 11 at 1 pm. For tickets, click through the Actor’s Gang ad on the right side of the page.
