It was a dark and stormy afternoon; so much so the the Danger Zone Dance Company had to cancel it’s second day of site-specific performance. It was just too wet. Now that the campus has had a chance to dry off, missed performances will be happening this weekend on Sunday “A Walking Nightmare” will be presented December 4 at 3 pm and again at 4 pm. Audience guests will meet at the main entrance gate to the CCHS campus (4401 Elenda St.)
This very special dance event features dances especially choreographed for the sites in which they are performed; trees and shrubbery, bike racks and corridors, stairs and stoops. Touring around the front and center of the Culver City HS campus, an array of dances are hauntingly and humorously presented to the songs from The Nightmare Before Christmas, composed by Danny Elfman.
No need to RSVP – tickets will be sold at the main entrance gate to the CCHS campus at 4401 Elenda St.
$10 General Admission
$5 ASB/children/seniors/ staff
This performance is outdoors and will be presented in various locations around campus. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes appropriate for outdoor weather!
