Join the Culver City Garden Club for a day of fun; hopping from one garden to the next with friends! Look out! “There’s an elephant behind that rosebush and a monkey swinging on the grape vine!”Start your day enveloped in pure garden whimsy. This is a must-see garden infused with color, art, lightheartedness—and intrigue. Get tons of ideas to inspire your imagination when nurturing and decorating your garden.
Then, move on to a rain garden designed to stem runoff and absorb rainwater from rooftops, driveways, and other property surfaces. Learn how you too can successfully capture and conserve rainwater for mean times. Next, tour a local yard changed to drought tolerant and California native plants that help save gallons of water, minimize maintenance cost, cut pesticide and more.
Visit another garden featuring a front yard fruit tree orchard with a great assortment of rare fruits from exotic regions around the world plus succulents, bromeliads, and a variety of flowering plants. And, round out your exploration in a succulent garden accented by decorative artwork and a backyard orchard you’ll love. Sometimes it’s plain awe-inspiring what you can grow and harvest in a limited space. Finally, close the day out at our Garden Hop “After Party”. Join us for fun; food, drinks while enjoying a lovely hillside view of Downtown LA. Don’t miss it!
