The Culver City Sister City Committee will host a Korean Student delegation, comprised of seven high school students and three chaperones, Jul. 23 to Aug. 3. Culver City Sister City conducts an annual exchange program with sister cities Iksan City of South Korea and Kaizuka of Japan.
The community is invited to attend the welcome picnic, July 24, 4-6 pm, at Bill Botts’ playground picnic area on the lower area of the park near the intersection of Jefferson and Duquesne. Please bring a dish to share and your chair.
The farewell pot luck party, July 31, 6-8 pm, at Carlson Park on Braddock Dr. and Motor Ave. also is open to the public.
