The Culver City High School Academy of Visual and Performing Arts, founded in 1996, is about to celebrate 20 years of creating art and changing lives. Java Gala VIII, the annual year end performance is coming up on Saturday, June 4 at the The Kirk Douglas Theatre. This always amazing benefit performance for the AVPA Foundation will kick off a year-long tribute to one of the most unique arts education programs anywhere. In addition to silent auction items, we will have opportunities to donate and support the incredible work AVPA produces each year, all while enjoying a spectacular evening of entertainment from our students in Art, Dance, Film, Music, and Theatre.
Reception begins at 6:30pm, Curtain at 8:00pm at the Kirk Douglas Theatre at 9820 Washington Blvd, Culver City 90232
