3rdPlaceTie_NakedLunch1The Edible Books Festival will return to the Culver City Julian Dixon Library on May 14 (that’s this Saturday) and you can enter your masterpiece anytime between 1 and 1:30 pm, (or just come and have a laugh – it’s about wit, not ingredients) so we we can hand out the prizes at 2:30 and enjoy some delicious literature.

Time, Space and Family Reading Group on May 19 at 7 pm will finish up 51H803T71QLthe discussion of “Love Medicine” and get into “The Beet Queen,” Louise Erdrich’s second novel set in North Dakota and exploring relationships between the Native Americans and the white settlers. Reflected as a coming of age story, this novel is a great read and a wonderful way to step into the concept of family and how it connects us. Bring a notebook and a pen, we’d love to have you join us.
