CC Seniors Win ‘Award of Excellence’ from California Parks and Recreation

ShowImageThe Culver City Senior Citizens Association, Inc. (CCSCA) received an Award of Excellence from the California Parks and Recreation Society (CPRS) and was honored at the 68th Annual CPRS Conference & Expo, held in Long Beach, California last month.
For more than 40 years, CCSCA has made a positive, meaningful impact on the residents of Culver City, working as an outstanding volunteer service partner with the City’s Parks, Recreation & Community Services (PRCS) Department. “Thanks to the CCSCA, countless diverse, life-enhancing programs have been and will continue to be available at the Culver City Senior Center. The CCSCA has allowed many projects to go forward, which has enhanced the lives of many and has made a difference in our community.
When traditional funding sources are no longer available, we are especially grateful we can turn to our community partners, like CCSCA, for help!” said Culver City Mayor Micheál O’Leary.
