Residents in the West Basin Municipal Water District are invited to the Rain Barrel Distribution Event on December 12, 2015. Those interested must register at www.sbesc.com, to get on the list for the free barrels. Once registered, residents will be instructed where and when to pick up their barrels at The Culver Studios, on December 12. Be sure to bring proof of residency that day. The Culver City Rotary Club is in partnership with West Basin Municipal Water District and is providing the labor for the distribution event. The Culver Studios is hosting this event.
Homeowners will be provided guidelines for collecting and reusing rainwater, which will reduce the amount of water flowing into storm drains, local waterways, and ensure that every drop of water is being used efficiently.
