Leslie+Adler+Venice+Family+Clinic+Presents+4eoXDxlJiy-lAt a recent school board meeting CCEF Executive Director Leslie Adler (pictured left) announced that in the 2014-15 school year CCEF gave $401,472 for innovative programs, equipment and support to our CCUSD schools.

Adler’s presentation described the impact CCEF is having throughout our school district in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics, and then introduced CCEF Board Members to the school board.

You can learn about CCEF board members on the website (ccef4schools.org/our-board/). Chances are a lot of their faces will look familiar to you, since they are often on our school campuses and are active in our community.

In 2015-16 CCEF not only needs to raise the funds necessary to continue the programs we’ve been supporting, like GrowingGreat Gardens, Symphonic Jazz Orchestra programs, Front & Center Theater experiences at every grade level, new recorders for every third grade student and math clubs in our elementary schools- we would like to build on that success with more engaging, enriching opportunities for our students and more technology upgrades, too.
