Culver City Education Foundation (CCEF) has joined the #GivingTuesday movement. Now in its third year, #GivingTuesday brings together the collective power of businesses, non-profits, and individuals to transform the way people think about, talk about and participate in the giving season. #GivingTuesday challenges all of us to take action to improve our local communities and to create a better world by giving to the charities and causes we already support.— that’s spending with a purpose.
Black Friday and Cyber Monday have become days that are synonymous with holiday shopping. But more and more the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, also known as #GivingTuesday (December 2, 2014), is harnessing the power of social media to build a international moment during the holiday season dedicated to giving.
At CCEF we hope you will celebrate #GivingTuesday with donations that celebrate our Culver City students and support our CCUSD schools. We will be at the Culver City Farmers Market for those who want to find out more about the impact we make in CCUSD. You can support Arts education, STEM, hands-on learning and academic support for every student in our Culver City public schools with your unrestricted donation to CCEF.
