Can you imagine a school fundraiser taking off like a rocket? El Rincon announces a new once-a-month flea market to run through the school year (September to May) on the second Saturday of the month from 8 am to 3 pm, in the parking lot at the corner of Sawtelle and Overland.
The Corner Flea Market is known primarily for antiques and collectibles. Shoppers can find merchandise ranging from high-end antiques all the way to rummage sale items. This is NOT a market for new resale name brand products, not a garage or yard sale event or a swapmeet; traditionally, it has been a venue for selling old, used or new products that are hand-made, unique, or created/owned by vendor.
Vendors are moved from the list into vending spaces based on the type of product they sell, which is made by The Corner Flea Market. According to the El Rioncon Booster Club, “We do not allow more than 3 of the same type of product vendor on any given flea market day. We do not want our vendors to have too much competition and we want to offer our customers a large selection to choose from.”
