In the wake of Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti’s visit to Washington, D.C., to garner support for revitalization of the Los Angeles River, Mar Vista/Culver City Transition invites you to a free screening of ROCK THE BOAT – The LA River Expedition on Nov. 16 from 7 to 9 pm at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center – L.A. 13325 Beach Ave., Marina del Rey. Staff from the mayor’s office, Ballona Creek Renaissance president Jim Lamm, and other Los Angeles River advocates and experts will join the discussion about the future of this important urban waterway.
