All the junk (ok, really, amazing treasures) you have been keeping in the garage for that yard sale you are planning to hold one-of-these-days now has a date and a destination – Culver City Middle School will hold a yard sale, this Saturday May 18 featuring mariachis, food trucks, raffles and more to help raise funds for the school’s English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC).
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 18 in the front parking lot of the school at 4601 Elenda Street.
In conjunction with the ELAC fundraiser, the Culver City High School Cheer and Dance squads will hold a car wash at the school from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Each car wash is just $7, and ticket revenues will help the squads pay for equipment, camps and training as well as the costs associated with sending the competition team to Nationals in Florida.
What could be better ? Clean garage, clean car, fun music and delicious food. If you already speak English, you can even count it as your good deed for the day.
